BARRY STEGGALL PARK

Public BBQ

The park presents an expansive children's play area, replete with a variety of play equipment, as well as a large green lawn suitable for picnics. It features an undercover BBQ area and a convenient off-road car park. A small lake adorns the park, encircled by paths of concrete or asphalt, scattered with loose rocks, providing a rugged, albeit not the most visually appealing, walking experience. A half-court for basketball further adds to the recreational opportunities. Despite its popularity, the new dog park tends to flood after minor rainfall, and some visitors have reported issues with unattended and aggressive dogs. The park is generally more enjoyable in winter, as the summer months can attract snakes. The facility is well-equipped with toilets and undercover seating.
